With an innate ability and vivid imagination Brandy uses art to define the way she lives life. Diagnosed early on with dyslexia, words and numbers were always confusing; however, all of the grey areas necessary to create dimension in a portrait were perfectly clear. Not bound by the limitations of paper or canvas, Brandy used color to create mood and movement through sound as a choreographer & dancer to further express herself and create visual masterpieces. Instead of completing algebra homework, Brandy preferred to assist her Mom in the salon fascinated by the endless and near magical possibilities to transform a person’s look with makeup and new hair style. Upon graduating High School, the only dilemma was direction. Pursue her passion for performing, take advantage of a scholarship offered to fine tune her portrait painting skills in New York, or dive right into cosmetology and become a magician. 

Before long it was undeniable that dance was going to drive her through the next decade. In her professional career as a dancer she had the opportunity to perform on stages large and small ranging from a dance tv show to the prestigious Super Bowl Halftime show with Dianna Ross, and more. Then she left her mark on Las Vegas when she became a Showgirl in the largest and longest running show in the world,  Bally’s Jubilee. Her legacy became iconic when her photo landed on the Marquee, taxi cabs, and Billboards for years after her final curtain. All along the way she was behind the scenes practicing & perfecting her skills with hair & makeup working with fellow performers and building relationships with photographers while pursuing formal training. By the time she was ready to retire from the show biz, she was a licensed Cosmetologist.

With Brandy’s knowledge and understanding of bright lights and big pictures, Vegas was the perfect town for her to spread her wings. The next decade would be spent in the fast lane. Her skills were quickly recognized, putting her in a lead position of a high-end salon while continuing her onset work. Brandy was taking on intense deadlines, extreme volume, as well celebrity clientele. Her portfolio would grow full of flavor and diversity. Over time she became a brand of her own, Makeovers By Brandy. Her precision and professionalism in the beauty industry keeps her in high demand where she regularly serves as Key Artist to TV shows, live productions, red carpets,  music videos, fashion shows, elaborate photoshoots, events and more.

Making the M.O.B.B.

It became clear that even with a talent that some would describe as super human, Brandy was bound by the limitation of having only two hands and 24 hours in the day and there were some creative projects so monumental that just one artist would not do.  Brandy worked collaboratively for years on large-scale productions that faced the daunting task of pooling freelance artists of varying skill sets to realize masterpieces.  With this in mind and deep desire to push herself to new creative heights, Brandy expanded on the success of her brand of one to create the M.O.B.B. Group, a licensed and insured multifaceted collective of cultivated artists that absolutely shine in their area of expertise.  Under her direction and tutelage, the M.O.B.B. group members are recognized as some of the finest multimedia artists equipped to handle creative projects of all types.  The group’s diverse portfolio includes, but is not limited to; editorial & celebrity photo shoots, TV/film, commercial, music videos, red carpet and award show appearances, live stage performers & presenters, men’s grooming, bridal, cinema quality SPFX makeup, body paint, cut & color services, extensions and custom wig design.  They are also frequently called upon as educators and image consultants for hair & makeup
